How To Update Your gBraid URL in Google Ads
Since Apple is introducing a new feature called App Tracking Transparency (ATT), which will give users more control over how their data is used for advertising, users will be asked whether they want to allow apps to track their activity across other apps and websites.
If a user declines, advertisers will no longer be able to use the IDFA, a unique identifier that is used to track users across apps and websites.
To update to the gBraid URL in Google Ads, you need to follow these steps:
1. Go to your Google Ads account.
2. Click on the "Tools" icon in the top right corner of the page.
3. Select "Conversions" from the menu.
4. Click on the "Conversion actions" tab.
5. Click on the "Edit" button next to the conversion action that you want to update.
6. In the "Conversion tracking URL" field, enter the following URL:
7. Click on the "Save" button.
Once you have updated the conversion tracking URL, you will need to wait for a few hours for the changes to take effect. After the changes have taken effect, you will be able to track conversions from iOS 14 users in Google Ads.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind when updating to the gBraid URL:
* The gBraid URL is only required for iOS 14 users. If you are not targeting iOS 14 users, you do not need to update your conversion tracking URL.
* The gBraid URL is not compatible with all conversion tracking features. For example, you cannot use the gBraid URL to track conversions from in-app purchases.
* If you are using a third-party conversion tracking service, you will need to contact the service provider to update your conversion tracking URL.
